With so many options to choose from, finding a good camping spot in San Francisco can be a daunting task.
Bodega Bay RV Park and Campground
In Bodega Bay, you will find the Bodega Bay RV Park and Campground. Located near the beach and the town of Bodega Bay, it’s a great place to stay if you want to explore the area. Each site in the park has full hookups, including electricity, cable TV, sewer connections and water. Additionally, tent sites are available for those who don’t need or want full hookups.
San Mateo County Event Center Campground
There’s no better place to stay in the beautiful Pacific Northwest than San Mateo Event Center RV Park in San Mateo, CA. The facility offers a pool, playground, laundry facilities, and more! Just about everyone enjoys the campground’s proximity to I-280, so if you’re looking for attractions, you’ll be able to reach them without too much difficulty.
Petaluma KOA Holiday
It is a great idea to stay at the Petaluma KOA Holiday. During your visit, you can enjoy the beach and wine country. A Petaluma KOA Holiday is also a good RV park to check out if you’re close to San Francisco and Sonoma County. For guests who are on vacation or on business trips, the park offers a number of amenities that will make their stay more enjoyable, including free Wi-Fi access throughout the property (along with free long distance calls) and cable television at each site.
Marina Green Park
If you are visiting the Golden Gate Bridge, you can park at the Marina Green Park and get free WiFi. You can park your RV here while exploring the city. From your rig, you can see the Golden Gate Bridge across the street! Market Street is just up Van Ness Avenue from Union Square, so you can pick up some groceries there or eat at some restaurants.
Presidio Trust
The Presidio Trust also offers free parking for RVs (but no hookups). There are water fountains and restrooms available at the Presidio, but you will need to bring your own drinking water since there are not many drinking fountains.
