Below are some tips for cleaning your motorhome or campervan. Starting with the roof is the first step. Drips and streaks will be prevented by using this method. In order to prevent streaks left behind after the van has been dried, it is also best to have a cloudy day without wind or rain. Wash, rinse, and finish cleaning one side completely before moving on to the next. It is important to rinse clothes regularly with clean water in order to remove dirt from them.

  • Start on the roof using your ladder. Ask someone to help you hold the base if you need it. Slippery motorhomes can be prevented with pipe lagging or insulation.
  • Remove dirt by rinsing and gently scrubbing the area. You aren’t doomed if you can’t find warm water.
  • Clean the roof with a brush and your general motorhome cleaner. Pressure can be applied to lift the marks and dirt.
  • Overreaching can cause you to become unbalanced. Depending on the situation, you may need to move the ladder.
  • A hose or bucket can be used to rinse the motorhome. Water should always be used at a warm temperature.
  • Clean the solar panels or obstacles again if dirty water or grime remains.
  • Also, make sure to thoroughly clean the sides and top of the awning.
  • In the same manner, clean the sides as well. After cleaning each panel with a soft brush or microfiber cloth, thoroughly rinse it. Allow the cleaner to sit for a minimum of 10 minutes before mopping, brushing, or spongeing it off.
  • Close or remove all motorhome storage boxes.
  • In the cab and in the hab, make sure the windows are clean. After cleaning it with a sponge or mitt, wipe it off with a microfiber cloth. Apply Rainex after cleaning and shining the glass.
  • It is best to dry with a microfiber cloth. Instead of using a small cloth, use a big one. Streaks may appear with natural drying.
  • You can prevent brake damage by cleaning your wheels.
  • When you have cleaned the wheels, make sure to clean between the spokes with a wheel brush.
  • You will be able to clean the polish easily and it will have a shiny finish. A flat mop or cloth is recommended for applying the solution. Overwintering can also be achieved with an algae-repellent spray.
