Listed below are a few of the best RV outdoor accessories that you should have while spending quality time with friends and family.
Outdoor mat
As an extension of our home, our large outdoor mat serves as a great place to relax. Our outdoor living area serves as a play area for our kids, a cat sunning area, and an outdoor living room during the warm months. Even folded clothes in it! In the absence of it, we’d be lost. Whenever you move, it can be folded up and stored in the basement. Once we had an outdoor mat, I realized just how much we needed it!
Camping chairs
Spending a lot of time outside is one of the best parts of living the RV life. When we want to work outside on the laptop, or just relax in the great outdoors, we use our chairs around the campfire. We have good ol’ fashioned mono-mesh and polyester camping chairs with cup holders even though camping chairs can get pretty fancy. You don’t need anything else!
Grill & Griddle
It can be uncomfortable to cook in an RV kitchen if it is too hot or stuffy. We said goodbye to our tiny indoor kitchen the day we got our Portable Gas Grill and Griddle Combo. The majority of our meals are prepared on the grill or griddle, although I do cook inside when the weather is bad. Cooking on the stovetop or in the oven is a breeze with this setup! For travel days, it is easy to store since it comes apart easily. Delicious food comes out of the oven. There wouldn’t be an RV life without it!
Hammock
Our hammock has been a favorite of ours since we started RVing. Whenever Ross goes backpacking overnight, he sleeps in the hammock when he goes hammocking. It’s a great place to relax, the kids play in it, and it’s a great place to swing in. After years of using our ENO hammock, it is still in the same condition as when we bought it. The hammock must be hung before our campsite is complete!
Portable propane fire-pit
It can get a little boring having a campfire every night when you are camping every night. Every time you want to sit under the stars with a little warmth, you have to get wood, start the fire, and put it out. There is a solution to that: a propane fire-pit! Easy to use and convenient. A propane fire is easy to start and end at night. Also excellent for making big bonfires with neighbors, these portable fire pits are great for camping. Bring your own fire-pit!
