1. White Lake State Park
State parks cover 902 acres in the White Mountains region. A glacial lake has pitch pine trees strung along the north shore. It is popular for swimming, boating, fishing, and hiking on its crystal-clear surface. The campground offers 203 campsites with dirt surfaces, grills, and picnic tables. Waste can be disposed of and water can be used. In addition to two playgrounds, there are also well-kept bathrooms and showers.
2. Hampton Beach State Park
RV campgrounds are not available along the New Hampshire coast except for Hampton Beach State Park. There are bathhouses and a swimming area at this 50-acre park. State parks in New Hampshire do not have primitive camping facilities. There is a flat and level campground that resembles a parking lot. Additionally, there is a sand beach nearby. The beach is rare, so dogs are not allowed. There are 28 full-hookup sites for RVs. So pop-up tents are not allowed. The camping facilities include tables, grills, and bathrooms.
3. Pawtuckaway State Park
Near Manchester, it covers approximately 5,000 acres. It has a 600-foot beach surrounded by forests and marshes. The boulders here were deposited by glaciers ages ago. Observation towers offer landscape views. Camping without hookups are available at about 200 locations. Showers are coin-operated. Canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats are also available for rent.
4. Danforth Bay Camping & RV Resort
In eastern New Hampshire near the Lakes Region are 300 forested waterfront campsites. Danforth Bay’s Bluffs are open to everyone, despite its upscale appearance. Swim, fish, hike, and bike on the grounds. Voltages at the campground vary from 20 volts to 30 volts to 50 volts. The general store rents boats and golf carts. The game room has cable TV. A dog run is also available. Danforth Bay welcomes well-behaved, friendly pets.
5. RiverBrook Campground and RV Park
On the Baker River, this resort offers a nice mountain view. Within 400 yards of Interstate 93, it’s located near Rumney. Hike, boat, fish, and swim nearby. Site 65×30 is suitable for large rigs. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi and full hookups. Campsites have direct access to the river, as well as fire rings and picnic tables. Playgrounds, basketball courts, and horseshoe pits are available as well.
