Humans have named electrical energy as electricity. The universe is made up of atoms, as we all know. Atoms consist of neutrons, protons, and electrons. Protons and electrons interact to create electricity magic. Atoms typically contain the same number of protons and electrons, so their charges cancel out. Atoms have a neutral charge. Electrons are flung away from their atom when a power source is connected to a wire like a battery or generator. Atoms with an extra electron are negatively charged, while atoms without electrons are positively charged.
DIRECT CURRENT
Direct currents flow in one direction. DC power is produced by batteries. DC power can be produced by any battery, regardless of the type. DC power can be easily determined in your RV by this method. It runs off your RV’s battery if it doesn’t need a power cord or an inverter to work. Electrolytes and metals are the basic components of a battery. Negatively charged batteries result from chemical reactions when charged. There are a lot of free electrons available. During charging, the positive side gives up all those electrons to the negative side. A positively charged battery has no electrons on its positive side.
ALTERNATING CURRENT
An alternating current, or AC, is defined as a flow of electrons that changes direction back and forth quite frequently. A battery’s current direction is determined by how it generates electricity. In AC power, wires are spun between magnet poles.
A magnet, unlike batteries, pulls and pushes electrons according to its north and south polarity when it moves past a conductor, like copper wire. This movement results in electricity but only while it is moving. It is either the magnetic field or the magnet itself that generates a constant electrical current.
