Full-time VR is considerably different from what we left behind. We debuted in the autumn of 2018 without a clue. We’ve all adapted well to full-time RV life. We’ve uncovered products that make camping simpler and more enjoyable. We suggest these outside RV accessories whether you camp occasionally or full-time.

Generator

We dry camp often. Our generator makes this feasible. When we’re not plugged in, we save power as much as possible, but when we need to charge gadgets, switch on the lights, or make smoothies, we utilise a generator. We picked the WEN 56200i 2000-Watt Inverter Generator. It’s quiet, efficient, and powers everything save the AC. It’s like a Honda or Yamaha generator, but cheaper.

Solar setup

Our generator is helpful during evenings and gloomy days, but we love our solar system. It helps us when travelling. Our RV comes with a 100W panel and a UXCell MPPT 20A charge controller. The method works excellent for charging our 100ah Renogy Gel batteries and saves gas on the generator.

Hydrant

You may assume any hose can fill your freshwater tank. Reconsider. We originally purchased a green garden hose to acquire tap water in our little abode, but found it difficult to use. It folded quickly but was difficult to store. We ditched the hose and bought a Zero-G garden hose. Light and non-bendable, as its name says. When we’re not using it, we can keep it in the RV’s basement.

Sewer hose/support

Someone must clean the black and grey tanks. We intended to make his work simpler by providing trustworthy equipment. We choose Camco RhinoFLEX 15ft RV Sewer Hose Kit. A durable, easy-to-use hose. Kit includes swivel fitting, transparent elbow with 4-in-1 dump station fitting, and storage caps. Camco 20ft Sidewinder RV Sewer Hose Support was our pick. It’s simple to use and smooth.

Wye-fittings

Dual sewer pipes make things simpler. Black and grey galley tanks. Sewer hoses won’t require as much attention. WYE fittings keep the sewage system running properly.

Level blocks

Unleveled RVs? Living on a boat upsets your equilibrium. We level our RV at each new spot. We’re happy with our levelling blocks’ durability and efficacy.
