These five campgrounds make our list of the best dog-friendly campgrounds in the United States. Dog owners and RVers love these, and the list isn’t exhaustive. Guests are welcomed with their pets too at these sites.

1. Four Paws Kingdom and Dog Retreat

Four Paws Kingdom and Dog Retreat welcomes dogs and humans alike. An agility dog park and a grooming station are among the amenities your dog will enjoy. There will be no shortage of pampering for them in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Your dog can be fenced in a yard or you can choose a site with full hookups. In addition to doggie bathhouses and agility parks, there are also ponds for swimming dogs at this campground. It is important to note that there are two dog parks at the Four Paws Kingdom and Dog Retreat: a small playground for small dogs and a larger yard that is suitable for larger dogs. Also, you don’t need to worry about mess when you are travelling with your dog in an RV.

2. Lake George RV Park

There is no charge for dogs at Lake George RV Park. You can splash in a water slide, swim in heated pools, or soak in hot tubs. In Charlie’s Bark Park, dogs can play off-leash in a pavilion and on two acres. At the campground, you can hook up your RV with full hookups. We’ve got cable, Wi-Fi, picnic tables, and fire pits at each site. Recreation, biking trails, and bathhouses are all part of the park amenities. Each dog size has their own area in the bark park, and there’s a bathroom for humans, too. The park also has a dog wash station and an agility event area. A dog-friendly park has outdoor baths for dogs.

3. Rovers RV Park

Rovers RV Park in Oregon is a great place for you and your dog to stay. Waterways surrounding the park are suitable for kayaking and fishing. A distance of 3.3 miles separates the beach from the Pacific Ocean. We offer 22 full hookup sites along with 12 grassy, electric and water-only sites for smaller RVs. Additionally, there are showers, laundry facilities, and Wi-Fi available at the campground, along with a communal fire pit and bathrooms. It is a pleasure to welcome dogs to Rovers RV Park. A large area off-leash is available near the river for dogs. Fishing with your dog is also an option.

4. Riverside Campground and Cabins

Riverside Campground & Cabins is surrounded by redwood trees. On a river close to the Pacific Ocean, there are hiking trails and beach access. The majority of campgrounds have picnic tables and fire pits. At the campground, you can do your laundry and take a shower. It is also possible to rent cabins. There is a dog-friendly campground. Dogs are almost never allowed in rental cabins or rooms. A good boy sits by the fire at a dog-friendly campsite along the river.

5. Kampgrounds of America (KOA)

The majority of KOA campgrounds are dog-friendly. You could plan a road trip around KOA locations because they exist all over the country. Before finalizing your reservations, research the KOA and learn about their pet policies. At most KOAs, you can rent a cabin or a full hookup campsite. Others offer pools and other activities, as well as bathhouses and showers. Dog parks are available at KOA’s KampK9. Many have separate areas for small dogs and large dogs, with cleanup stations, freshwater, and fresheners. Moreover, pet parents can sit comfortably in the area.
